No gap between the boss and the boots on the ground.
On a lot of civil jobs there's a string of people between whoever is calling the shots and whoever is actually on the machine. Here there isn't. Jared owns the business and runs the grader, so the person making the decisions is the one standing on the job, reading the ground in front of him and sorting it on the spot, not three phone calls later.
The person who owns the plant, answers the calls and runs the machine is one and the same. Decisions happen on the ground, in real time.
Four handovers between the person calling the shots and the person doing the work, and the brief gets thinner at every step.
What you don't usually get in one operator.
One operator, fully accountable
The person who prices the job runs the machine and signs the handover. No layers, no handoffs, no one to point at.
Backed when it counts
Project management, engineering and RPEQ sign-off on call behind Jared, so bigger packages get the program and paperwork without losing the owner-operator service.
Built to spec, and proven
Roadworks to QRA and TMR standard, systems aligned to ISO, with the conformance records to back every lot.
The fleet behind the work.
Jared owns the grader, roller, loader and water truck outright. Behind them sits the gear and the operators to put several double-grader crews on the ground at once. He has run them before.
Owned plant fully registered, backed by $20M public liability and mobile plant cover. Full plant register and certificates of currency available for any prequalification pack.
One owner. Several crews when it counts.
Blackmore is owner-operated, not a one-machine operation. Jared has run multiple double-grader crews at the same time, across separate jobs, with hired plant and operators he knows. The capacity scales to the program. The standard on each crew does not move.
Run before, at the same time, on separate jobs.
Set up to get it right the first time.
The tools and systems that keep production up, rework down and remote crews safe and connected.
Machine guidance
GPS machine guidance on the grader. Design grades hit first time, so rework and over-cart stay off your costs.
Mapping & set-out
Current mapping tools and survey set-out, including from first principles when the plans are thin, as we did across the Quintess village.
Self-sufficient crews
Multiskilled operators and modern comms keep remote jobs moving and safe with minimal supervision, plus proactive engineer and client liaison. Less for your team to manage.
Aligned to standard, built to spec.
Management systems aligned to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 principles, and civil works built to QRA and TMR (MRTS) specification. Backed by $20M public liability and mobile plant cover.

See Safety & QualityWhere we work.
Based at Kilcoy in the Somerset region, with regular work across South East Queensland. We cover the rest of the state when a job calls for it, and we'll head into northern New South Wales when the work is a fit.
Worked alongside
The range we've handled.
From council resheets to tight, low-tolerance retirement-village roads, the work spans most of civil. A sample of what we've taken on:
The work has included 4 m road lifts, box stabilisation, batter trimming and 14 km of channel cutting for refrigeration pipework. The kind of jobs that don't leave room for a second go.
