Principal-led delivery

No gap between the boss and the boots on the ground.

On a lot of civil jobs there's a string of people between whoever is calling the shots and whoever is actually on the machine. Here there isn't. Jared owns the business and runs the grader, so the person making the decisions is the one standing on the job, reading the ground in front of him and sorting it on the spot, not three phone calls later.

Blackmore Principal-led delivery
Principal & owner-operator Jared, in the grader
On the ground Your job

The person who owns the plant, answers the calls and runs the machine is one and the same. Decisions happen on the ground, in real time.

Director, head office
Project manager
Site supervisor
Leading hand
On the ground Subcontracted operator

Four handovers between the person calling the shots and the person doing the work, and the brief gets thinner at every step.

What sets us apart

What you don't usually get in one operator.

One operator, fully accountable

The person who prices the job runs the machine and signs the handover. No layers, no handoffs, no one to point at.

Backed when it counts

Project management, engineering and RPEQ sign-off on call behind Jared, so bigger packages get the program and paperwork without losing the owner-operator service.

Built to spec, and proven

Roadworks to QRA and TMR standard, systems aligned to ISO, with the conformance records to back every lot.

Plant & equipment

The fleet behind the work.

Jared owns the grader, roller, loader and water truck outright. Behind them sits the gear and the operators to put several double-grader crews on the ground at once. He has run them before.

Owned & operated
Komatsu GD555-5 Motor Grader
The primary machine, low hours and fitted with Trimble GPS machine control and a sonic tracer for precise trim. Road maintenance, formation reshaping, final trim and gravel runs. Run by Jared, serviced and logged.
Caterpillar CS12 GC Smooth-Drum Roller
Mine-spec build, low hours. Compaction across road formations, subdivisions and bulk earthworks.
Caterpillar 924K Wheel Loader
Low hours, with integrated scales and printer for accurate load-out and material records. Stockpiling, loading and site handling.
Isuzu FYH Water Truck
Mine-spec and fitted with a water cannon, low hours. Compaction support and dust suppression across active works.
Accessed through established local partners
Additional graders, dozers & support plant
More graders, dozers, excavators, pad-foot and smooth-drum rollers, water carts and road-train float haulage, on call through established partners in the local area.
Trusted local operators
Known operators who work to the same standard, brought on to hold the program when a job needs more hands.

Owned plant fully registered, backed by $20M public liability and mobile plant cover. Full plant register and certificates of currency available for any prequalification pack.

Capacity to scale

One owner. Several crews when it counts.

Blackmore is owner-operated, not a one-machine operation. Jared has run multiple double-grader crews at the same time, across separate jobs, with hired plant and operators he knows. The capacity scales to the program. The standard on each crew does not move.

Systems & technology

Set up to get it right the first time.

The tools and systems that keep production up, rework down and remote crews safe and connected.

GPS

Machine guidance

GPS machine guidance on the grader. Design grades hit first time, so rework and over-cart stay off your costs.

MAP

Mapping & set-out

Current mapping tools and survey set-out, including from first principles when the plans are thin, as we did across the Quintess village.

CREW

Self-sufficient crews

Multiskilled operators and modern comms keep remote jobs moving and safe with minimal supervision, plus proactive engineer and client liaison. Less for your team to manage.

Systems & insurances

Aligned to standard, built to spec.

Management systems aligned to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 principles, and civil works built to QRA and TMR (MRTS) specification. Backed by $20M public liability and mobile plant cover.
